Research Overview   The major focus of our group is to understand cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in nuclear reprogramming and in the epigenetic control for imprinted genes. We investigate the epigenetic mechanisms controlling genomic imprinting exposing cell lines to chromatin-modifying agents or exposing early embryos to different in vitro conditions and correlating the allele-specific epigenetic modifications with allele-specific expression.
