Postgraduate on Clinical Oncology, Stem Cells and Cell Therapy

The Postgraduate program on Clinical Oncology, Stem Cells and Cell Therapy aims to scientific and technological strengthening of the subject, promoting the confluence of data and ideas that support more agile and efficient mechanisms in exchange for knowledge, encouraging the development and the dissemination of Science and Technology as tools of insertion of Brazilian researches in the competitive international academic world.

The curriculum of the Program is composed of two areas of concentration: 1) Stem Cells and Cell Therapy and; 2) Normal and Neoplastic Cell Differentiation, with the intent of creating opportunity to integrate basic and applied researches, engaging students in specific training and development of skills, and also leadership, focusing on critical thinking to meet new challenges.

Areas of concentration: 1) Stem Cells and Cell Therapy 2) Neoplastic and Normal Cell Differentiation, with the following research fields:

1) Stem Cells and Cell Therapy
1.1. Somatic Stem Cells;
1.2. Pluripotent Stem Cells;
1.3. Pre-clinical and Clinical Studies;
1.4. Stem Cells and Cell Therapy, Transference, Dissemination, and Knowledge Popularization.

2) Neoplastic and Normal Cell Differentiation
2.1. Neoplastic Stem Cells;
2.2. Pre-clinical and Clinical Studies on Oncology;
2.3. Tumor Markers.
