Basic Research

The research projects cover the detailed study of stem cell biology, their mechanisms, and the potential use of them in translational view for cell therapy. These studies include embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and cancer stem cells. The main topics on basic research are summarized in Research goals for the Center Cell-based Therapy (CTC).

The main areas of basic research are illustrated in Figure.
