O Centro de Terapia Celular participa da “Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia 2015” (SNCT), com a atividade Celularium – Uma viagem pela célula.
As apresentações serão realizadas em dois eventos, posteriores a data oficial da SNCT: no dia 29/10, no Colégio Santa Úrsula, das 8 às 17 horas, e do dia 4 a 7/11 no Shopping Iguatemi, das 16 às 22 horas.
Prof. Dr. Roberto Passeto Falcão presented the lecture: “lymphoproliferative disorders of large granular lymphocytes”, on the 5th Seminar of Cell Therapy Center (CTC USP), in the Amphitheatre Red in the Blood Center of Ribeirão Preto.
The continuous update and exchange of information are important goals of the CTC USP. The integration between researchers, teachers and students, sponsored by seminars, strengthens the exercise of scientific development.
The meeting, held since 2001, brings national and international speakers presenting the latest research findings in medical and biological areas.
As inscrições para o “XVI Curso de Verão: Genoma, Proteoma e o Universo Celular – Oncologia, Células-tronco e Terapia Celular” começam no dia 5 de outubro. O evento, organizado pelo Centro de Terapia Celular da USP, será realizado no Hemocentro de Ribeirão Preto, no período de 25 de janeiro a 4 de Fevereiro de 2016.
O objetivo do ciclo de encontros é oferecer aos alunos das áreas de Biologia, Saúde e Engenharia Química, a oportunidade de conhecer as diversas linhas de pesquisa do CTC, um dos 17 Centros de Pesquisa, Inovação e Difusão (CEPIDs) apoiados pela FAPESP. As aulas tem conteúdo teórico e prático, direcionados aos programas de pós-graduação oferecidos pela instituição.
A duração do curso é de 80 horas, 40 horas de aulas teóricas e 40 horas de aulas práticas. As inscrições são gratuitas e poderão ser realizadas até o dia 30 de outubro, no sitewww.hemocentro.fmrp.usp.br/cursoverao2016/.
O pré-requisito para a vaga é cursar, a partir do penúltimo ano, as áreas de Biológicas, Saúde ou Engenharia Química. O resultado da seleção será divulgado no dia 16 de novembro.

The University of São Paulo and the Université Sorbonne-Paris-Cité are establishing strong academic cooperation on several fields of knowledge. Recently, an International Research Network on Hematology has been created, engaging professors, researchers and postgraduate students of USP and USPC for the development of projects on sickle cell anemia, bone marrow transplantation and
hematopoietic failure. These projects involve both basic research in the laboratory and clinical research for the development of new diagnoses and treatments for people who suffer from these diseases.
On September 3, USP and USPC held in Ribeirão Preto a workshop on Hematology with the presence of researchers from both institutions to present and discuss projects and to encourage the participation of new students and researchers. This workshop relies on the support of the Hemocentro RP and the Center for Cell-based Therapy of FAPESP.
